Camille Marie Yannantuono & Valentino Sorpresi are the founders of Sorpresi Tango and owners of the dance studio LA PERLA – El Salón. Located in the historic heart of Bern’s Old Town since June 2013, their school specializes in Argentine Tango in its improvised form – “Tango de Pista”.
Sorpresi Tango offers a rich tango experience: small-group classes for both beginners and experienced dancers, monthly Practicas to deepen your skills, hosting various Milongas where the social aspect of tango is celebrated. Regular workshops with international guest instructors uphold our high standards of quality and our lifelong-learning-approach. Our offerings expand to tango trips, concerts and cultural events.
Body awareness, mindful non-verbal communication through the connection with one’s partner, and the joyful interpretation of the music lie at the heart of our teaching. We look forward to sharing the dance floor with you.
